The kit contains information about sponsorship opportunities for the 2009 QCOSS Conference. The theme of the conference is “Stronger Together” working co-operatively with each other and with government to alleviate poverty in Queensland.

Occurring every two years, the conference is unique in the community sector calendar. The community sector is made up of a diverse range of organisations working in a range of different areas. This is the only event in Queensland that brings this group together as a whole.

QCOSS is particularly excited about the 2009 conference since it also marks our 50 years anniversary. We will be marking this event during the conference and at the special conference dinner.

Past conferences have attracted over 400 participants but we expect the 2009 event to exceed this number. People working in the sector will be keen to mark QCOSS’ 50^th birthday, but also in these challenging times, to talk about how service delivery organisations can best respond.
