QCOSS, Credit Commercial and Consumer Law (CCCL) Program (QUT), and the Financial Counsellors Association of Queensland (FCAQ) invite financial counsellors, emergency relief service providers, and other people working with consumers experiencing difficulty with energy bills to attend ‘Keeping the Lights On’, a consumer forum to be held on 5 March 2010.  The forum aims to increase attendees’ knowledge on how to assist clients experiencing energy hardship, as well as providing information on developments that are likely to affect consumers.  It will be run as part of the FCAQ annual conference, but a limited number of places are available for others working in the community sector.

Financial counsellors attending the FCAQ conference will be able to register for the consumer forum as part of their registration for the FCAQ conference.  All others wishing to attend should register through QCOSS, using the registration form available here.  Please register early as places are limited.

For more information contact Nadine Lester at energy@qcoss.org.au or call 07 3004 6900.
