Currently she is Co-Chair of the UK Prime Minister’s National Strategy for Carers in Employment Task Force and Chair of Employers for Carers – a group of major employers, employers’ organisations and Government agencies who promote the business benefits of supporting working carers and influence employment policy and practice to create a culture which supports carers in and into work. • Professor Luke Clements is a UK solicitor who specialises in human rights proceedings on behalf of socially excluded groups, including disabled people and carers. He helped to draft and pilot through Parliament the Carers (Recognition and Services) Act 1995 and the Carers (Equal Opportunities) Act 2004. • A showcase of 18 Innovative Carer Support Programs and ideas from across the nation.
