The Queensland Council of Social Service (QCOSS) provides a
voice for and with Queenslanders affected by poverty and inequality
and acts as the state-wide council that leads on issues of
significance to the social, community and health sectors.
QCOSS is currently offering a part-time position (32 hours per week)
in our policy and communications team until 30 June 2008 (classified
at Level 6 of the QCOSS Certified Agreement 2006). The position
will undertake research and consultation projects in relation to the
needs of disadvantaged Queenslanders—specifically to increase
access, participation and cohesion in Queensland’s culturally diverse
society.
The position is responsible to the Manager, Policy and
Communications and will be based at West End.
