About the Opportunity Lifeline Community Care North Queensland has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Clinical Supervisor to join their team in Townsville. The purpose of this position is to provide leadership, support and individual professional supervision to the face-to-face counselling staff and to provide expert consultancy and specialist advice and guidance to counsellors and other staff. Reporting to Lifeline Community Care North Queensland's General Manager, your more specific duties will include: Designing, implementing, managing, leading and review contemporary clinical and practice supervision processes, structures and strategies; Managing a caseload of, and facilitating direct clinical supervision of, counsellors and other practitioners; Managing and implementing a Telephone Crisis Counselling supervision system; Providing internal professional individual supervision and debriefing to Counsellors, Telephone Counsellors and other staff; and Networking and acting as a catalyst for continuation of referrals to the service.
