TEAM LEADER PiP and JPP Programs – Townsville Full Time Fixed Term position until 31st October 2010 (with possibility of extension) ARCH Award Level D 1 - 4 ($65,505 - $72,011) Plus generous salary packaging options. This position provides leadership of team members and program management within 2 programs – Participate in Prosperity (PiP) and Job Preparation Program (JPP). Participate in Prosperity (PiP) – A multi-disciplinary team of caseworkers and support workers engage with eligible members of the local Indigenous community to offer a range of services including counselling, referral, advocacy, practical support and community based activities. Eligible candidates have identified barriers that prevent them from engaging with the community or actively partaking in employment. The Team Leader is required to manage current PiP services, including expansion of service delivery. Job Preparation Program (JPP) – The program aims to help participants (particularly long term unemployed Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Island People) to develop the skills and experiences they need to compete in the local labour market. The Team Leader will be required to develop and implement the program.
