Identifying Population Health Interventions that Effectively Target Disadvantaged Queenslanders

This paper identifies, describes and analyses ‘population health’ interventions, and the elements of these interventions, that have been successful in addressing the widening health differential between disadvantaged and advantaged Queenslanders.

The paper provides examples of past, current and emerging programs that demonstrate effective elements within population health interventions impacting disadvantaged Queenslanders. From these case studies, a set of successful elements has been developed to underpin population health interventions that aim to impact disadvantaged populations.
