Community Door

Community Door is a comprehensive online resource for Queensland's community services sector. The site contains detailed information to assist organisations with their strategic development including the areas of Governance, Funding, Reporting, Financial Management, Quality Assurance, Service Delivery as well as resources relating to reform of the sector.

In addition Community Door hosts a social networking platform available to all workers in the sector to enable then to freely collaborate online in a professional context.

Background: Early in 2009 QCOSS took over the management of the website from the Queensland Department of Communities. QCOSS' mandate is to broaden the scope of the website to allow a greater capacity for the sector generate content and drive it's evolution.

The project is developed in association with QUTs Australian Centre for Philanthropic and Non-profit Studies (CPNS).
