Election must focus on creating a fairer Queensland

As you are now probably all aware, the upcoming state election has been called for March 24. The upcoming weeks will be an important time for the sector as we will need to hone and deliver a number of key messages to both the candidates, parties and the electorate. This is an important opportunity for us to participate in influencing the political agenda for the next three years.

QCOSS will be advocating for the development of a fairer Queensland throughout this time and call on the major parties to show real leadership by adopting real and definite action to create a Fair Queensland. As always we will be advocating for the adoption of policies and programs that work to improve the lives of people experiencing poverty and disadvantage in Queensland.
