LNP Business Breakfast
Mark Henley A number of community organisations attended the LNP Business Breakfast earlier this week. The event was organised so people could hear Campbell Newman’s vision for Queensland. It was acknowledged at the breakfast that there is considerable work required to support people in poverty and disadvantage, as well as acknowledgement of our Cost of Living Report.
There is great interest to understand the LNP’s policy platform for supporting vulnerable Queenslanders. One of the five action plans promoted was to ‘Revitalize Front Line Services for Families - … such as health, transport, police and education’. We are keen to understand better the LNP’s focus in this area and are seeking meetings with Campbell Newman, Fiona Simpson and others to understand further their policy platforms.
