Queensland Accessing Interpreters Working Group, convened by QCOSS is launching a second report on the state of access to interpreters in Queensland services. This report presents background information, consultation findings and discussions on five areas: Queensland Government funded community services, the justice system, health services, disability services and the interpreter workforce. This report highlights a number of priority areas for action to improve access to interpreters for people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities who are not proficient in English.
