An exciting position has become available in Cairns to support the delivery of vital youth alcohol and drug (AOD) treatment services in the Cape York and Torres Regions. The RADIO (Remote Alcohol and Drug Interventions and Outcomes) Coordinator is a senior clinical treatment/ capacity building position that supports local workers employed in local agencies in the Cape York and Torres Regions. The project is a collaboration between YETI and local Cape York and Torres services. The RADIO Coordinator will: work with a range of community stakeholders; provide support to 4-8 AOD clinicians; undertake a clinical senior practice role; and fulfil program reporting requirements. The RADIO Coordinator requires a candidate with strong leadership skills, expertise in clinical governance, training, alcohol and drug experience, working with young people and an understanding of working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities.
