Domestic and Family Violence Case Worker
The Domestic and Family Violence Case Worker advocates for and provides high quality professional support and advice to women and children experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence that promotes empowerment and self-determination. This position is based in Maryborough Queensland.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants are required to be female. Under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to be female.
The position is primarily responsible for:
Supporting and advocating for women and children within the Temporary Supported Accommodation Program
Utilizing contemporary case management principles and practice in direct service delivery; and
Ensuring a cohesive and effective team based working environment
