Community Housing Industry Futures: Outlining strategies and actions to support growth and sustainability.

Together with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Queensland, CHIA Qld and Q Shelter, this session will focus on the growth of community housing in an environment where increased funding streams are creating genuine opportunities. The session will also explore and examine the role that an industry road map could play in defining a desired future where Community Housing Organisations are growing sustainably. Questions for discussion will include:

• What are the key organisation and system-level activities to strengthen the industry for growth?

• What should a sector roadmap look like?

• How can we ensure the strength and sustainability of First Nations-led organisations delivering social and affordable housing?

This session will take place concurrently with Imagining the future of housing and homelessness responses in QLD Workshop and an opportunity to swap meeting rooms for the last hour to add your input across both topics will be provided if you are interested.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Queensland, CHIA Qld and Q Shelter will be working together to document input from CHOs and industry partners as a basis for growth planning and beginning work on an industry road map.
