Imagining the future of housing and homelessness responses in Queensland: designing a system for success

As we embrace a future where we have learned from the past and draw on evidence, participants are invited to bring their experience, imagination and passion for a Queensland without homelessness.

This session will include some presentations drawing on evidence while also capturing sector input on improved system design. The session will explore key system components and connections between housing supply, support, service integration inclusive of mainstream and specialist services, legal rights and broader community support for solutions among other things.

Who is this session for? Community Housing Providers, Specialist Homelessness Services, the wider community services sector working with people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, advocates, and people who have lived experience of housing need and homelessness.

Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

While light refreshments will be available, kindly be informed that lunch will not be provided at this event.

This session will take place concurrently with Community Housing Industry Futures Workshop and an opportunity to swap meeting rooms for the last hour to add your input across both topics will be provided if you are interested.
