Crisis communication that works!

Registration is closed for this event
For Queensland’s migrant communities, the effect of inadequate communication during the COVID-19 pandemic was significant.

How do we make sure messaging for CALD communities is consistently reliable, especially in times of crisis?

At this event, we invite you to share your experiences of what good communication looks like and instances of what can happen when information is miscommunicated.

We will hear from David Harmer, Chair of the Queensland Health Policy and Action Plan for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Communities (COVID-19) Working Group. David will discuss the number one priority of the working group—to provide CALD communities with reliable COVID-19 information and messaging—and the actions taken by Queensland Health to implement the communication strategy.
