End of a journey, but just the beginning: Human rights in housing and homelessness

Registration is closed for this event
Please join us at this special event to conclude the Human Rights, Housing and Homeless project. We will present resources, key learnings and project highlights that have taken us from Brisbane to Rockhampton, Cairns, Mount Isa and back again.

Human Rights Commissioner Scott McDougall will deliver some important reflections about the hard work of frontline staff to embrace human rights decision-making, which has often resulted in improved outcomes for social housing tenants and those experiencing homelessness.

We will also invite audience reflections on what more needs to be done to ensure a rights-respecting social housing service system.

This event will be of interest to anyone seeking to implement a human rights approach to their service provision.
