“Our communities have the solutions for healing.” Healing Foundation CEO Fiona Cornforth.

Our October COVID-19 learning exchange will highlight the important research gleaned from COVID resilience yarning circles, facilitated by The Healing Foundation, into the effects of the COVID19 pandemic on Stolen Generations survivors.

Jo Thitchener, Engagement and Delivery Lead at the Healing Foundation and facilitator of the COVID-19 response project for Stolen Generations Survivors, will talk about the learnings from this project.

We will ask: can we weave these learnings into the everyday practices of the social services sector, and our response to an ongoing pandemic?

This event is part of our COVID-19 Learning Exchange, which asks, in the context of COVID-19, what does it take to create a strong and sustainable service sector to respond to the needs of our community?
