Community of Practice Meeting - Engaging with Traditional Custodians, Elders and Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander people

Registration is closed for this event
Hello / Galang nguruindhau (Ga-lung ngoo-rroo-win-dha-woo)

QCOSS is celebrating NAIDOC Week 2020 with a very special online event. Our final Community of Practice gathering for 2020 will feature Reconciliation Queensland’s Uncle Bill Buchanan, and the Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships (DATSIP) Executive Director Culture and Economic Partnerships, Ms Simone Jackson.

QCOSS recognises the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live and work. We recognise their continued connection to land, sea and community.  Partnering with Traditional Custodians, Elders and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people is essential when developing place-based approaches, and this collaboration is critical to place-based work in any Australian communities.

This will be a deadly event with a little song and dance, presentations, and quizzes. Come along and share your story!

This event is open to members of the Queensland Community of Practice group only. Find out more about the group, and join hereThe group is free to join.
