Do you know how the Budget process works? How can you influence government’s funding decisions? Join QCOSS In Conversation: With Rachel Hunter, Under Treasurer, Queensland Treasury.

As the Queensland Government prepares its 2021/22 Budget, it’s a fantastic time to understand how the community service sector can influence and contribute to the state government’s funding decisions. This exclusive session will explore how government can use major investments to deliver long-term social policy outcomes.

Rachel Hunter is one of Queensland's foremost public servants. Having been Director-General of three Queensland Government departments, Queensland’s Public Service Commissioner, and now leader of the Queensland Treasury, she is uniquely positioned to speak to the sector about the budget process, key timelines for stakeholder input and how budget decisions are made, key timelines for stakeholder input and how budget decisions are made. In May she will become the first female Director-General of the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
