Queensland Resources Industry Development Plan: Have your say
The resources industry is an essential contributor to Queensland’s economy and supports more than 71,000 jobs across the state, particularly in our regions.
Healthy towns and resources communities are integral to a thriving resources industry. The community services sector helps sustain these communities through housing and homelessness services, mental health support, drug and alcohol services and a range of other tailored supports.
As the world changes we need to ensure both the industry and local communities can adapt to those changes to remain strong well into the future.
That’s why the Queensland Government, in consultation with industry and the community services sector, is developing the Queensland resources industry development plan. The plan will set a long-term vision for the resources industry and identify the immediate actions needed to achieve this.
We want to hear from you!
