Human Rights in Action: Serious vilification and hate crimes
All of us all have a role in stepping up and speaking out to ensure that Queensland is a place of respect and equality, regardless of our ethnic, religious or cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
In this Human Rights in Action webinar we will hear from community leaders about the current inquiry into serious vilification and hate crimes. This thought-provoking discussion will explain why better protections are needed, and what you and your organisation can personally do to support the campaign. Webinar participants will be inspired to take action, including by making a submission to the inquiry.
This event is part of our Human Rights in Action series which seeks to improve the capacity of the social service sector to understand how they can use the Human Rights Act in their work (advocacy, service delivery and service design).
Date: Thursday, 1 July
