Registration is closed for this event
QCOSS is currently delivering our exciting community of practice: Supporting Diversity in the Workforce.

This program provides provides organisations with practical information and resources to reform their human resources strategy to make sure it supports genuine diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

What helps brings these tools and resources to life is hearing from those who best understand how genuine inclusion in the workplaces can make a real difference to employment and career experiences. We will be joined by three guest speakers who will share their own experiences and insights into why attracting and retaining diverse employees is so crucial in the social services sector.

  • Karni Liddell – NDIS Ambassador of Queensland, Paralympian, diversity trainer and clinical social worker
  • Christine Mudavanhu-Makumbe – Founder and principal consultant at Utano Consulting, working with organisations to create cultures that are diverse and inclusive and support a stronger sense of belonging and psychological safety
  • Lachlan Anderson – Recruitment specialist at Indigenous Workstars, former tribunal officer for Administrative Appeals Tribunal Migration and Refugee Division, Aboriginal artist and owner of Qandamooka Inspire.

This will be an opportunity to see the resources developed through the Supporting Diversity in the Workforce community of practice and find out more about what the program is delivering.
