Following on from the success of our in-person Brisbane event, we have introduced an online, Queensland-wide event. Spaces are limited to 35 so register now!

Domestic and family violence (DFV) is a workplace issue. One in six women who are in paid employment have experienced, or are currently experiencing, DFV.

Increasingly, organisations are developing and implementing good policy and practice that provides victim-survivors of DFV with leave and a range of other practical support strategies.

However, people who perpetrate DFV may also be present in our workplaces. DFV policies must also recognise and respond to these employees.

QCOSS and DFV Work Aware are partnering to deliver a workshop for workplace leaders that will analyse what makes good DFV organisational policy, including how to support victim-survivors of DFV in the workplace and how to respond to employees who perpetrate DFV.

Participants will leave the workshop with a draft DFV policy for their organisation and information on how to implement it.

Date: Thursday, 17 June

Time: 10:00am to 12:30pm

Location: Online via Zoom

DFV Work Aware is a program developed by the Working Women's Centres of Australia. DFV Work Aware is delivered in Queensland by Basic Rights Queensland Inc., which includes the Working Women Queensland team.
