Queensland Youth Week is our biggest opportunity to celebrate the state’s young people aged 12-25. In 2020, Queensland Youth Week will be held from 1 to 9 April.
This year’s theme is ‘Yeah the youth!’, which is a call to friendship, strength and unity between young people and a celebration of who they are and what they offer to our great state.
Young people are significant drivers of the state’s cultural, economic and social trends. They’re taking the early steps into adulthood and making key life decisions along the way.
During this time, they may be entering high school, obtaining a learner driver’s permit or finding their first job. They may be registering to vote or finishing their university education. They may even be beginning their careers and starting a family.
During Queensland Youth Week 2020, let’s acknowledge the successes and challenges young people face and celebrate what the future looks like.
