The Scanlon Foundation’s community grants for 2021 will fund projects that support the transition of migrants into employment. Projects should consider the experience of migrants and of receiving communities and aim to nurture positive outcomes. All submissions are also expected to empower new arrival communities and develop cross cultural connections.
This year’s community grants will provide funding up to a maximum of $25,000 for a 12 month project. The community grants will be eligible for all locations across each state of Australia, including Victoria.
Expressions of interest can be made by Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) eligible organisations for grants of up to $25,000 through Smartygrants. Applications are now open and will close at 12pm midnight on Friday 18 September 2020.
