QCOSS stand firm in our opposition to the Cashless Debit Card trial in Bundaberg and Hervey Bay and we are asking our members to stand with us.

What are we asking

Below is a letter we have drafted outlining the many reasons the trial needs to be abandoned. The Cashless Debit Card trial has been criticised by a range of experts across policy and program areas including drug and alcohol, indigenous and social policy, and financial counselling.

QCOSS is asking our members to send this letter to the senators listed below

  • Rex Patrick (Centre Alliance) [email protected] or call (02) 6277 3785 OR (08) 8232 1144
  • Stirling Griff (Centre Alliance) [email protected] or call (02) 6277 3128 OR (08) 8212 1409
  • Tim Storer (Independent) [email protected] or call (02) 6277 3698 OR (08) 8232 0220

If you would also like to send a letter to your local senator, then here is the list of senators.

Together we can make a difference for the people of Bundaberg and Hervey Bay.
