Australia’s poverty rate remains above the OECD average. Approximately 430,000 people in Queensland live in poverty.
What it looks like, the causes and impacts are different for every person. But there are some measures that tell us as a community if we are doing well or not so well.
To gain a snapshot of how Queensland is faring, QCOSS looks at various indicators under five domains: 1) health, 2) safety, 3) affordable living, 4) family and connectedness, and 5) lifelong learning.
