 Job Description

Wellspring Child and Family Hub is part of a network of services that aims to provide opportunities and resources to parents and their children. The Hub has specific strategies to support children from birth to 5 years old and their parents who are experiencing crisis such as domestic and family violence, and homelessness, health and other social issues where dedicated service to children will assist the family through adversity.

We are looking for a wonderful Administration Support worker to help with the important office tasks that will support the Women, Children & Families Cluster Teams. Our ideal candidate has previous experience as an Office Administrator in Community Services and / or Early Childhood Education setting.

This is a permanent full time employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 3 of the SCHADS Award.

 Desired Skills and Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support, including managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Assist with enrolments and bookings for our Early Years Program, maintaining accurate records, and updating databases.
  • Support with monitoring the bookings for the Wellsprings Children & Families Hub and referrals for other teams within the WCF Cluster.
  • Support the Cluster Lead with scheduling, meetings, and staff coordination.
  • Prepare and distribute communication to families and staff.
  • Maintain a welcoming and professional front office environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a Community Services or early learning setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with childcare management software (preferred).
  • Hold a current blue card
  • Hold/be willing to obtain a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training
  • A friendly, approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team across two locations.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours if needed and open to discussing specific schedule needs.
