The opportunity

A rare opportunity is on offer
for an experienced, authentic, business savvy and astute leader for this
exciting senior role. You will join the leadership team in enhancing, expanding
and evolving our aged care services to change the way health care is delivered
and improve accessibility across our region.

We are looking for a highly
experienced and qualified professional in Aged Care who wants to work in a
growing and establishing and embedding innovative service delivery models.

You must have Australian Aged
Care leadership experience. Your knowledge and experience must cover the
delivery and management of Australian in-home care services; Australian home
care package reforms; understanding of the Legislation as it applies to Aged
Care and Disability Support. Experience with Brokerage, Contractors, Fee for
Service will be highly regarded.

For this role, you will be an
inquisitive, collaborative and supportive leader. You will provide leadership
and management across clinical services to ensure safe, efficient and effective
health service delivery across our current programs including in the Home, and
Community Services currently being delivered across the Brisbane South region.

This position is a key member the
Leadership Team and plays an integral role in the successful implementation of
the Aged Care services. The position has the privilege of leading a highly
engaged workforce who provide services to clients with high levels of
satisfaction.

A key requirement will be working
closely with other members of the leadership team to foster a culture which
values data driven decision making, continuing professional development, and
empowering our wider team to achieve excellence in the delivery of care, which
is personal, effective, connected and safe for clients, carers and families.

About you

  • Experienced senior leader of
    effective teams including change management experience
  • Proven ability to manage
    human, physical and financial resources in a complex clinical environment
  • Experience in Commonwealth
    Home Support Program and Home Care Packages
  • Experience in Home Assist
    Secure desirable
  • Extensive knowledge of
    clinical governance, quality and safety standards, management systems
  • Monitor and manage clinical
    service activity, outputs and financial performance
  • Confident working within
    legislation and contractual framework and agreements
  • A demonstrated understanding
    of community health care and aged care services
  • Strong interpersonal,
    networking and influencing skills, as well as significant expertise in
    delivering change across service delivery programs
  • Demonstrated ability to
    develop and implement local business plans and strategies in a complex
    operational environment to support business growth opportunities
  • Tertiary qualification in a
    related health or management discipline is desirable
