Role type: Permanent full-time
Pay range: $82,169 to $84,306 a year based on experience, with salary sacrificing available
We are looking for a qualified Domestic Violence or Nursing professional, Psychologist, Social Worker or Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting new challenge. The successful applicant will be interested in working as part of a dynamic team to create solutions for families at the critical point of intersection with the statutory child protection system. The Assessment Service and Connect (ASC) team is not a case management service. ASC is a time-limited intervention that aims to set up families for success. In this job, you’ll assist Child Safety in determining if a child is in need of protection and provide children and families with the right service, at the right time, in the right place, to increase safety, improve family functioning and decrease the likelihood of children further entering or re-entering the child protection system.
§ Be able to quickly build connection with parents and children in crisis
§ Have experience in making accurate family & individual assessments
§ Be willing to work flexibly across office sites and outreach into homes
§ Contribute to a high-performance team culture
§ Be able to quickly acquire knowledge of Child Safety legislation and practice
