Develop meaningful relationships with children of all ages residing in the service, through active, empathetic listening and child-centered, appropriate and sensitive responses. Advocate for children’s needs, physical, psychological and emotional; being proactive and acting as liaison between children, mothers, schools, childcare, community organisations and other specialised services. Enhance child’s understanding of their current situation by providing age appropriate information about domestic and family violence. Create opportunities for children to learn, have fun and relax. this is a full time position.
Requirements for this position are:
A tertiary qualification in behavioural science or related field and an appropriate level of experience working with vulnerable children of all ages. AS current Blue Card and a current C Class drivers licence.
