The Brisbane Domestic Violence Service (BDVS), including the Safer Lives Mobile Service (SLMS) are free and confidential services for people in the Brisbane metropolitan area who are affected by domestic and family violence. Through a coordinated community response (CCR) model, BDVS: (1) supports women, children, family members, same sex attracted persons and others and (2) holds perpetrators accountable for their violence.

Micah Projects is urgently seeking a Children and Young People’s Domestic Violence Specialist Worker to join BDVS. This position aims to support children impacted by domestic and family violence, to live free from violence and to assist with the emotional and practical needs and issues arising from their experience.
This is a permanent, full time position with a minimum of 38 hours of work available per week and is classified under the SCHADS Award at a Level 4.
