Brisbane Youth Service is a medium-sized incorporated association providing holistic responses to vulnerable young people (aged 12 – 25 years) and young families who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless.

Are you a dynamic individual with a commitment to deliver a hotline and mobile (outreach) support service for young people who are couch surfing?
The full time Couch Surfing Hotline Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and delivering the QMHC Better Futures Grant funded evaluated trial of a Couch Surfing Hotline and mobile (outreach) support service for young people who are couch surfing; their concerned family/carers; and those who are providing couch-surfing accommodation to young people.
The Part time position of Couch Surfing Hotline Project Worker will be responsible for supporting and delivering the QMHC Better Futures Grant funded evaluated trial of a Couch Surfing Hotline and mobile (outreach) support service for young people who are couch surfing; their concerned family/carers; and those who are providing couch-surfing accommodation to young people.
To undertake either of these roles above you will require a tertiary qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Psychology or have had substantial work experience. You will have a Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card) or willingness to apply for a Blue Card and hold a current Queensland driver’s license.
