The Safer Lives: Men’s Domestic Violence Offender Program is a 27 week, rolling mandated program delivered at various Probation and Parole Offices around Brisbane. It is offered to male offenders under the supervision of statutory authorities who have perpetrated violence against their female intimate partners.

We are seeking to increase our contractor pool of female and male sub-contracted facilitators for the delivery of the BDVS Men’s Domestic Violence Offender Program. Facilitators must possess a Level 2 Facilitator requirement under the Professional Standards of Practice – working with men who perpetrate domestic and family violence or have the ability to obtain this requirement.

Programs are held Monday afternoons and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings for three hours and are based on the Duluth Curriculum and in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines. The contractor pool of facilitators are able to nominate what days / locations best suits their schedule.

The payment arrangements for this position is $220 per session, for which you will invoice Micah Projects. This comprises of an hourly rate of $60 plus 20% loading to cover sub-contractor responsibilities.

Please note: The relationship of this position with Micah Projects is as a contractor, not an employee and the successful candidate will be responsible for their own ABN, tax arrangement, superannuation, probity and insurance.
