Micah Projects is a community based not-for-profit organisation with a vision to create justice and respond to injustice at the personal, social, and structural levels in church, government, business, and society. Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.

Lotus Place is a dedicated support service and resource centre for people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings. Lotus Place provides integrated peer support, advocacy, counselling, and other support services to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings services. Lotus Place exist in three locations: Brisbane, Rockhampton, and Townsville from which outreach to surrounding communities occurs through an integrated funding response by the Australian and Queensland governments.

Micah Projects is seeking a North Queensland Coordinator to work within a shared leadership framework as part of Lotus Place to strategically develop partnerships and enhance access to services with Forgotten Australians in North Queensland.

This is a permanent, full time position with a minimum of 38 hours of work available per week and is classified under the SCHADS Award as a Level 5 or Level 6 dependent on experience.
