About the Service
The Halwyn Centre delivers comprehensive, individualised residential care to people with a high level of disability and whose families reside predominantly in the greater Brisbane region. Care recipients require ongoing care and support due to their significance physical, intellectual, communication, behavioural and development health related issues.
About the Role
- The purpose of this role is to demonstrate accountability at an advanced practice level for leadership, effective coordination, efficient management, and for the monitoring and development of nursing standards of practice within Halwyn. Lead and coordinate a nursing/midwifery team and/or healthcare team and oversee and provide clinical support or relevant expertise.
- Metro North Hospital and Health Service is the biggest and most diverse Hospital and Health Service in Queensland, delivering the best care by the brightest healthcare professionals.
Two of our five hospitals – Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH) and The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH) – are tertiary/quaternary referral hospitals, providing state-wide super specialty services, such as heart and lung transplantation and burns treatment. Redcliffe and Caboolture are major secondary hospitals, and Kilcoy is a regional community hospital.
