Brisbane Youth Service is a medium-sized incorporated association
providing holistic responses to vulnerable young people (aged 12 – 25 years)
and young families who are experiencing homelessness or are at-risk of becoming
homeless.

The Opportunity

  • Strategic Partnerships Coordinator

  • Full-time position – until 30 June 2021

  • 76 hours per fortnight

    Are you a dynamic individual with the ability to build and grow
    strategic partnerships across a range of community segments and stakeholder
    groups?

The purpose of this position is to develop, foster and grow strategic
relationships with corporate and philanthropic partners, donors and sponsors to
support Brisbane Youth Service’s growth and sustainability.

To undertake the Strategic Partnership’s role, you will require A
minimum of an undergraduate tertiary qualification in Business Management,
Philanthropy, Public Relations or demonstrated substantial experience in
similar fields. A current Queensland driver’s license and hold a current
Working with Children Positive Notice (Blue Card) or a willingness to obtain
one.

To be successful in your application you will need to provide written
responses to the following selection criteria:

1.     Strong
communication skills, including effective and persuasive verbal and written
communication with the ability to influence stakeholders and build rapport.

2.     Demonstrated
experience in engaging with a broad section of the community to build a
philanthropic investment platform that supports sustainability and growth.

3.     Demonstrated
success in effective donor identification, engagement, support and retention.

4.     Demonstrated skills
in managing Database software used in partnership management.

5.     A demonstrated
ability to leverage volunteer involvement for partner engagement.
