The Coordinated Access Team (CAT) is an initial access point for people experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness in the greater Brisbane region. CAT staff are skilled at assessing the needs of people experiencing homelessness or at risk of experiencing homelessness and matching them, based on need and eligibility, to the best services to meet their circumstances. CAT focuses on the whole Brisbane community and acts in a triage role, assisting individuals and families to resolve crisis quickly. They provide information and referrals, as well as support and advocacy to assist people to prevent homelessness, access emergency accommodation, find or maintain suitable long-term housing and establish a home.

Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
Micah Projects is seeking two Support and Advocacy Workers to join the Coordinated Access Team. As a Support and Advocacy Worker you will work to provide coordinated entry through assessment, triage and prioritisation of services based on presenting needs of individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
These are permanent, part-time positions with a minimum of 22.8 hours of work available per week and is classified under the SCHADS Award as a Level 4. Hours of work for both positions are 10.30am – 6.30am, with one position operating from Mondays – Wednesdays, and the position worker operating from Wednesdays – Fridays.
