Lotus Place is a dedicated state-wide support service for people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings. Services are offered from three locations: Brisbane, Rockhampton and Townsville, with outreach to Cairns, Mackay, Gladstone, Bundaberg, Gympie and Gold Coast. Lotus Place provides integrated peer support, advocacy, counselling and other support services to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings.

Micah Projects provides a range of support and advocacy services to individuals and families.
Micah Projects has an opportunity for a Support and Advocacy Worker (Find and Connect) to join Lotus Place to provide an initial response, ongoing assistance and support to people who experienced childhood abuse in institutional settings who are searching for (or may have located) their records of care or other personal history searches.
This is a permanent, full time position with a minimum of 38 hours of work available per week, for a and is classified under the SCHADS Award at a Level 4.
