This position works closely with the Manager and other Victim of Crime Support Workers in providing direct support to people with intellectual and/or learning difficulties who have experienced or at significant risk of experiencing violence. This role will have a on assisting with receiving referrals and intake assessments, providing information, advice and referral to our target group, service providers and families and , and managing client information. It may also involve group delivering training and community education to increase the capacity of service providers, families and to respond appropriately to people with intellectual disability.
Hours and Location
This is a 15 hour per week position until June 2021 (specific date to be confirmed is located in Brisbane. An additional 15 hours per week may be available subject to negotiation of duties. This role involves outreach to Greater Brisbane.
Salary and Conditions
Level 4 of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010-2011 (SCHCADS).
