Want to help people use My Health Record effectively? The Australian Digital Health Agency are holding consultations throughout early February in Brisbane to develop tailored materials on how to use the My Health Record safely and effectively.
A My Health Record account will be created for every Australian from 31 January 2019, unless you have opted out. The Parents and Children workshop will provide an overview of the recent changes in legislation relating to domestic and family violence, and a chance to understand the work the agency is doing through the Family Safety Program. There will be an interactive session to seek input from participants and provide guidance to organisations that support people experiencing domestic and family violence.
The Parents and Children consultation workshop will be held at 9:00am - 12:00pm on Friday 8 February at Karstens, 215 Adelaide Street in Brisbane. The event is catered. To register, please click here.
There are a number of other consultation workshops taking place, including workshops for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, older Australians and people suffering from chronic disease. Go to the My Health Record website to see these events.
