Community Door is a comprehensive virtual gateway for community-managed organisations in Queensland to access key information to assist in all aspects of the operation of the service.
The site contains detailed information to assist organisations with their strategic development including the areas of governance, funding, reporting, financial management, quality assurance, service delivery, and sector reform. Within each section you will also find news, resources, key information and useful links.
Network Spaces lets you discuss and share information, news and events with others in the social and community services sector. You can join groups that interest you in your area or around your topic of interest. Then you can see events and news items, store common files and network with people with similar interests, all from the comfort of your home or office. Participants need to create a login to join groups and participate, but it is free and only takes a few minutes.
The QCOSS Community Door eTraining site provides free self-paced online courses to support community service workers throughout Australia. Please note we are not a registered training organisation so we cannot offer accreditation. Materials on this site carry a Creative Commons (attribution only) license. Most courses are available to any user through guest access. However if you would like to use the self-check functions of the training modules or access completion certificates, you will need to create a free account and log in.
StudioQ is a collection of multimedia resources aimed at supporting the community services in Queensland. These videos and podcasts showcase forums, workshops, interviews and animations on a broad range of topics. You can find resources relating to a particular topic by using the titles in the menu bar.

Community Door is managed by QCOSS and funded by the Queensland Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services. QCOSS’ mandate is to broaden the scope of the website to allow a greater capacity for the sector to generate content and drive its evolution.
