This research report into the experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander energy consumers was triggered by substantial anecdotal evidence from the community sector about widespread instances of customers frequently going without electricity in their communities and being excluded from accessing energy concessions and rebates.

QCOSS is concerned about the significant health, social welfare and economic impacts on households not having an affordable and regular supply of electricity.
