Human Rights in Action: A Child Rights Approach to Practice – Making Rights Real

Registration is closed for this event
A child rights approach is about focusing on children and their development. It is taking children seriously in their own right, as active agents who have their own distinct experiences of the world. It is underpinned by a commitment to hearing and taking seriously children's own voices and experiences, as the basis for all actions and decisions that affect them.

In this webinar 54 reasons will share their Child Rights Practice Framework and how they embed a child rights approach into practice. 54 reasons will provide examples of how they make their child rights approach ‘real’ in their daily work alongside children, young people, and families.

About 54 reasons: 54 reasons values children’s right to participate in decisions that impact them. Leading the way for children’s rights 54 reasons are strongly committed to supporting child-led agency, with their name championing the 54 articles listed in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. Striving to ensure all children’s rights are met so they can thrive – in all their diversity, creativity, and curiosity.
