Preventing sexual harassment and gender discrimination in the workplace

Since the Respect@Work Report recommendations, there have been legislative, policy and practice changes in relation to sex discrimination and sexual harassment.
In this webinar, we outline the changes to legislation, review existing legislation and share with participants the meaning of these changes in the workplace.
Through stories from Working Women Queensland’s own cases, we share some of the issues that arise for workers in community services, and the systems that are designed to support them.
Participants will leave with:
- a deeper knowledge of the legislative landscape
- an understanding of the experiences of women in Queensland workplaces in 2023
- a better understanding of how to contribute to the goal of eliminating harassment and violence in our communities and in our workplaces.
