Queensland social housing register data

This summary report reviews the details of applications for social housing recorded in Queensland’s Social Housing Register as at 30 June 2023. Information is included on 25,364 housing register applications, including the type of assistance required and the level of assessed housing need. Over the latest 12-month period, approximately 7,000 households were removed from the social housing register, about half of which because they could not be contacted. New technology information systems were implemented by the Queensland Government in 2019-20, which resulted in some changes to data structures and coding. As a result, comparisons across years may be impacted.
