2024 QCOSS Town Halls: Gladstone

Registration is closed for this event
In 2024, what does your community need?

With the housing crisis, interest rate rises and inflation putting immense pressure on Queenslanders, we want to know how your organisation, clients and community are being affected.

Please join us in person at one of our upcoming town halls to talk about the emerging issues in your area. By listening to you, we can understand how to advocate most effectively for your region and our sector.

Our town halls are the basis of our Queensland budget submission. Feedback from past town halls has informed our asks for more social housing, better renting rights and more appropriate indexation for social service organisation contracts, among other things.

A few hours out of your day can significantly impact the direction of Queensland’s social service advocacy. We look forward to seeing you in your town soon.

Date: Tuesday 21 May 2024
Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
Location:  Philip Street Communities and Families Precinct,
Maxine Brushe Community Meeting Place, 1 Pengelly Street (off Philip Street),  Gladstone QLD 4680

Light refreshments will be served.

The audience for the QCOSS Town Hall are people who are currently employed by a Queensland community organisation. Registration for these events will be prioritised for someone who works in the community sector.
