Quality Collaboration Network: Managing psychosocial risks and preventing workplace sexual harassment

Registration is closed for this event
Organisations in the community services sector are working within the parameters of multiple quality frameworks and legislations every single day.

Justice Connect's Not-for-profit Law program is a national legal service, offering free and affordable legal supports for not-for-profit organisations and social enterprises.

This session will provide an overview of the support Justice Connect can provide to organisations within the community services sector to make sense of the law, stay legally compliant, and thrive within complexity. Justice Connect’s team will specifically talk about:

  • changes to the work, health and safety law on managing psychosocial risks; and
  • a new positive duty to prevent workplace sexual harassment and other behaviours.

The Quality Collaboration Network is a peer-led network for those involved in implementing the Human Services Quality Framework within their organisation.

It provides an opportunity to share experiences, information and resources on audit and quality matters, as well as identifying common issues across the sector to inform system updates to government. Monthly meetings offer guest speakers and discussion on a range of topics, while access to peers and experts provides a community of knowledge and experience to draw on for everyday support.

Involvement is open to quality, policy or compliance risk professionals working in community services non-government organisations in Queensland.
