The Queensland Council of Social Service (QCOSS) wishes to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of outgoing Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk.

QCOSS has always had a good working relationship with Ms Palaszczuk and wishes her well in the future.

Moving forward, the next Queensland Premier will face challenges that must be addressed immediately.

A growing number of Queenslanders face a bleak future with the cost of living crisis impacting their daily lives. Too many families are struggling with rent, food, and soaring electricity bills.

QCOSS will be seeking an urgent meeting with the new Premier to discuss their immediate plans to address these growing crises.
